1) Terima dirimu sepenuhnya – Diri anda adalah unik dan terlalu istimewa. Tidak ada dua orang yang benar-benar serupa dengaan anda sampai bila-bilapun . Biar bagaimana pun diri anda dari aspek fizikal misalnya , anda perlu menerimanya dengan penuh kesyukuran dan merasakan betapa hebatnya anugerah Allah pada anda. Tenaga emosi yang positif ini akan dijanakan menjadikan anda saying, hormat dan hargai diri anda. Bagaimana orang lain ingin hrgai dann hormat anda jika anda sendiri tik pernah untuk menghormati diri anda. Apabila anda menerima diri anda secara totalnya segala kelengkapan yang anda ada terutama jiwa anda .minda sedar dan minda bawah sedar anda akan dengan senang hati berkhidmat pada anda dengan sepenuh hati dan akan menjadi pekerja setia pada anda. Jika sebaliknya ‘mereka akan menjadi musuh pada diri anda dan akan membawa kesulirtan pada anda.

2) Analisa diri- sila imbas kembali peristiwa lepas secara berperingkat 3 tahun, 5 tahun dan 10 tahun dahulu mengapa anda masih berkeadaan seperti sekarang, siapa yang mempengaruhi anda dan persekitaran yang menjadikan diri anda seperti sekarang. Senaraikan kelemahan tersebut supaya anda boleh nampak dengan jelas sifat-sifat kelemahan diri untuk diperbaiki.


3) Pastikan anda benar-benar mengetahui APA YANG ANDA MAHU dalam hidup anda . Dan mulakan senarainya. Seperti pekerjaan, kesihatan, hubungan , sifat diri kelengkapan hidup dan sebagainya. Buat senarai tersebut dan tuliskan. MESTI TULIS.

4) Senaraikan pilihan langkah-langkah tindakan yang anda perlu ambil untuk menjayakan bagi mencapai matalamt anda misalnya dari segi sumber, masa dicapai, siapa yang anda perlu hubung, ilmu yang perlu anda cari dan sebagainya.

5) Buat VISUAL DAN REHEARSAL MENTAL secara jelas diri yang anda inginkan dan matlamat yang anda ingin capai. Walaupun peristiwa tersebut belum berlaku, anda dapat ‘melihat, mendengar dan merasakan suatu perasaan yang hebat seolah –olah masa depan tersebut telah anda nikamati dengan sebenar2benarnya. Gunakan teknik NLP(NEURO LINGUISTIC PROGRAMMING) . Ianya akan mengaktifkan minda bawah sedar anda untuk mengaktifkan kepercayaan, pemikiran, perasaan supaya setiap sel dalam tubuh badan anda akan berkerja keras untuk mencapai REALITI. SETIAP PERISTIWA BERLAKU DUA KALI. IAITU SATU DALAM MINDA DAN SATU LAGI DI ALAM SEBENAR.(POWER OF DREAM ANN POWER OF WILL)

5) Letakkan standard yang tinggi bagi diri anda dan jangan sesekali anda perlekehkan. Sentiasa gunakan bicara kendiri yang positif pada diri anda (The power of Self Talk). Katakan sentiasa kata-kata positif yang merangsang diri anda. APa sahaja yang mengiktiraf diri anda yang terbaik

6) Berubah pada persekitaran yang baru dan mencabar. Selagi anda berada pada bentuk persekitaran yang sama, hasilnya 20tahun akan datang juga sama. Ubah system persekitaran anda.UBAH SISTEM BERKERJA ANDA .

7) Pilih rakan sebaya yang dapat membantu untuk memcapai impian anda. Pastikan anda bergaul dengan orang yang telah mencipta kejayaan dalam hidup mereka. Tenaga Aura dan emosi positif akan mengalir dalam diri anda untuk anda mengubah persepsi diri. Selagi anda bergaul dengan rakan yang sama, selagi itulah nasib anda akan serupa. Cari kawan baru

8) Tempuhi pengalaman-pengalam an baru. Pelajari ilmu baru dan aplikaskasikan . Secara beransur-ansur anda akan dapat membangunkan diri anda. Ini adalah proses pertumbuhan . Anda perlu meniarap.merangkak dahulu sebelum boleh berjalan dan berlari.. Pastikan anda lakukan perkara baru yang sesuai dengan kebolehan dan minat anda.

9) Senaraikan kejaya-kejayaan kecil dan besar yang anda capai. Imbas kembali dan kemudian ‘masukkan’ Kejayaa-kejayaan yang anda ingin capai dan rasakan seolah-olah anda telah memiliknya.

10) Sentiasa menggunakan Power of Affirmation iaitu kata-kata perakuan diri yang menyatakan anda mampu dan boleh melakukan. Jangan ada halangan minda sama sekali. Cuba dan cuba sehingga berjaya. Tetapi jangan terlalu lama . Jika bidang itu tidak sesuai cari bidang lain.

11) Ubah persepsi, pemikiran, kepercayaan dan perasaan kepada yang menyatakan I CAN DO IT!!!! I BELIEVE MY SELF

Malaysian Artistes For Unity

Coined by Pete Teo, Malaysian Artistes For Unity is a zero cost project getting everyone together to make a video on anti-racism and national unity. The song features Malaysia's finest such as Afdlin Shauki, Awie, Ning Baizura, Atilia, Jacyln Victor, Reshmonu, Jason Lo, KLG Sqwad and many more.

The video was taken in Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre. Titled as "Here In My Home", the song gives a mass sing along to anyone who hears it. One of the verse consists of a rap in Malay, Chinese, Tamil and English before hitting back to the chorus. That was brilliant!

Ketupat Weaving Instruction (Cara Menganyam Ketupat) - Video

The first of the Kampung crafts to be demonstrated here is ketupat weaving. The ketupat is still being woven and sold by the Satay vendors of Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, but ketupat weaving in these regions is fast becoming a dying craft among the Malays as alternative and more expedient methods of making the rice cake have become available to the present generation. Ketupat casings are however still woven in homes for the Aidilfitri celebrations. During such times street vendors can be found at the Malay Village at Geylang Serai Singapore offering ketupat casings and cooked ketupat as well throughout the night till the wee hours of morning.


Materials for weaving ketupat casings. The Ketupat is a savoury rice cake wrapped in woven coconut leaves. The stick which forms the spine of the leaves is removed with a paring knife so that the leaves are split in two ribbon-like pieces. The young leaves of the coconut plant are used. These young leaves are light yellow in colour with green edgings down the long outer sides of the leaves. The length of the coconut leaves is just right for ketupat weaving. The wider the leaves the bigger the ketupat casing will be. The instructions given below is for the traditional ketupat - somewhat square in shape. Another type of ketupat casing is woven in the shape of an onion - called ketupat bawang.

Pandan leaves may also be used. The pandan leaves used are of the long variety and not the type commonly used for food flavouring. However, because of the scent or flavour of the Pandan leaves, such leaves are not usually used when the ketupat is served as a complement to certain dishes as the pandan flavour might affect the taste of the accompanying dishes. Ketupat are therefore traditionally served plain without any flavour. However, some ketupat are boiled in coconut milk seasoned with some salt.

For decorative purposes, ketupat casings may be woven in multicolored craft ribbons.

How to cook & serve ketupat.The ketupat casings are filled with uncooked rice at the top opening of the casing. It is filled two thirds or three quarters full. The more water absorbent Chinese rice is preferable to the Thai variety as the Chinese rice makes a more compact ketupat and the texture of the ketupat is also smoother. A whole bunch of filled ketupat is then put into a big pot of water and boiled for about 3 hours. The ketupat are then cooled. Serve ketupat cut across diagonally twice with the casing still intact. Remove the casing after cutting. Ketupat are traditionally served with Sayur Lodeh, Serunding, Sambal Tumis, Soto or Satay. Because of the long hours of boiling, the ketupat will keep well and may last a few days even without refrigeration.

Some Weaving Tips

Briefly stated the ketupat weave comprises three vertical and three horizontal interlocking loops. The two ends of the split coconut leaves end up together at the diagonal opposite ends of the ketupat casing: the 2 narrow ends finish together diagonally opposite the two broad ends. The opening of the ketupat (into which rice is filled) is located at the top end where the broad ends of the leaves are located.

The leaves are initially handled and placed in the manner illustrated in figure (1) below. When making the X, the B leaf should be longer than the A leaf so that there is sufficient space to line up the vertical loops.from the centre of cross to the B end of the leaf.

The 3 vertical loops (figures 2,3,4) are to be kept close together as otherwise it may be difficult to handle the weave when you get to stage (8) where the weave has to be turned around so that the bottom is turned up to face you. A loose weave may just fall apart then. Furthermore, you may also run out of the lengths of the leaves if the weave is woven too loose.

Dexterity comes with practice. A skilled person can complete one ketupat casing in under 1 minute.

NB The illustrations below are sketched to show the weave in loose formation as otherwise the weave will not be shown clearly enough and the back portion of the ketupat casing will not be visible. When weaving the ketupat all the vertical and horizontal loops should be woven as close to one another as it is possible to allow you to manouvre the next step. Try to keep the woven casing a square and not a rectangle as shown in the illustrations. You can do this by tightening or shortening the horizontal loops. In the sketches, the elongated horizontal loops are also exaggerated to aid visibility.

Midvalley MegaMall Dangerous Exprience

LET THIS TRUE STORY SERVE AS A WARNING

To the men : warn your loved ones!
To the women : remember this!

About a month ago there was a woman standing by the Mega Mall entrance passing out flyers to all the women going in. The woman had written the flyer herself to tell about an experience she had, so that she might warn other women.


The previous day, this woman had finished shopping, went out to her car and discovered that she had a flat. She got the jack out of the trunk and began to change the flat. A nice man dressed in business suit and carrying a briefcase walked up to her and said,

'I notice you're changing a flat tire. Would you like me to take care of it for you?'

The woman was grateful for his offer and accepted his help. They chatted amiably while the man changed the flat, and then put the flat tire and the jack in the trunk, shut it and dusted his hands off.

The woman thanked him profusely, and as she was about to get in her car, the man told her that he left his car around on the other side of the mall, and asked if she would mind giving him a lift to his car. She was a little surprised and asked him why his car was on the other side. He explained that he had met an old friend in the mall whom he hadn't seen for some time and they had a bite to eat and visited for a while; he got turned around in the mall and left through the wrong exit, and now he was running late and his car was clear around on the other side of the mall.

The woman hated to tell him 'no' because he had just rescued her from having to change her flat tire all by herself, but she felt uneasy. Then she remembered seeing the man put his briefcase in her trunk before shutting it and before he asked her for the ride to his car.

She told him that she'd be happy to drive him to his car, but she just remembered one last thing she needed to buy. She said she would only be a few minutes; he could sit down in her car and wait for her; she would be as quick as she could be. She hurried into the mall, and told a security guard what had happened; the guard came out to her car with her, but the man had left.

They opened the trunk, took out his locked briefcase and took it down to the police station. The police opened it (ostensibly to look for ID so they could return it to the man). What they found was rope, duct tape and knives.

When the police checked her 'flat' tire, there was nothing wrong with it; the air had simply been let out. It was obvious what the man's motive was, and obvious that he had carefully thought it out in advance.

The woman was blessed to have escaped harm. How much worse it would have been had she waited in the car while the man fixed the tire, or if she had a baby strapped into a car seat. Or if she'd gone against her judgment and given him a lift. I'd like you toforward this to all the women you know.

It may save a life. A candle is not dimmed by lighting another candle.I was going to send this to the ladies only; but guys, if you love your mothers, wives, sisters, daughters, etc., you may want to pass it on to them as well.

Send this to any woman you know that may need to be reminded that the world we live in has a lot of crazies in it....better safe than sorry.
