Bare your love this Valentine’s Day
Female students urged
SHAH ALAM: Female students in higher-learning institutes here are being persuaded not to wear panties on Valentine’s Day as an expression of true love for their boyfriends.
The “no-panties promotion”, being held for the first time, has apparently been gaining interest among the students, who are passing the news by word-of-mouth.
Two students in their 20s from Shah Alam, known only as Ummi and Melissa, said they were aware of the “promotion.”
“I feel it is personal,” said Ummi with a smile.
“Valentine’s Day is a good time to express one’s love. And, what we use or don’t use is our right, our freedom. But we will do what is right. It’s a new world now.”
Melissa claimed that there was already a large group who planned to go ahead with it.
“We will know how many by Valentine’s evening.”
State Islamic Affairs Department (Jais) director Datuk Mohammed Khusrin Munawi said:
“We will not allow Muslim students to be taken in by such celebrations that deviate from the teachings of Islam.”

Five Fingers Shoe
FiveFingers shoes. As an owner of Nike Air Rifts (that just have the big toe separated), I find these oddly appealing, yet disgustingly disgusting looking. I just hope none of my winter gloves catch sight of these things, because they'll fight them for being copycats. They sell for between $70-$100 and are allegedly great for all sorts of make believe sports like ChiRunning,Pose Method Running, and Bouldering

Robot Fish
Masamichi Hayashi, a marine ecologist and educator, has created a few life-like robotic fish from various recycled items. The toy fish have been produced from all kinds of recycled objects including raincoats, used tires, plastic bottles and windscreen wipers.
Masamichi Hayashi's great knowledge in both robotics and sea animals has helped him create a realistic set of robot fish. The robots fish closely imitate the swimming styles of the species from which they are modelled.

Magic Chinese Bowl Can Cure Erectile Dysfunction
The Star recently reported claims of an ancient Chinese bowl, inherited by an ex-government servant from Kampong Seberang Jerteh, Terengganu, having supernatural powers including being able to cure erectile dysfunction.
70 year old Mohd Nor Daud (picture above) says that he believe that the bowl was given to his ancestors by traders from China. The Bowl is estimated to be of 16th century. He learned of its magical powers from his father who died years ago.
Mohd Nor Daud claims that the bowl can change seawater into freshwater safe for drinking if the water was kept in the bowl for 8 hours.
He claimed that illnesses like impotence can be cured by drinking the water from the bowl.
Another claim is that cooked food can be kept for days without refrigeration and won't go bad if kept in the bowl.
Further, those who intend to lift the bowl, according to Mohd Nor Daud, must clean their hands thoroughly. If not, they will not be able to lift the relic.
